Years Experience In Radiant heating systems
At RadKing, we don’t just manufacture our radiant heat panels we install them, too.
Installing radiant heat requires precision carpentry, plumbing expertise, and electrical know-how and our team does it all.
With years of hands-on experience, our crews deliver fast, reliable, and high-quality installations. On average, we install 1,000 sq. ft. per day, keeping your project on time and your schedule moving.
Every project is unique, so we tailor our services to fit your team’s workflow:
If your plumber prefers to handle the PEX tubing for warranty reasons, we can install the RadKingPanels™ only. Our precise, efficient installation ensures your flooring or drywall crews can move forward right away keeping your build on track.
Want a more complete solution? We can install both the RadKingPanels™ and the PEX tubing. This is ideal when plumbers prefer to focus on boiler and manifold work while we handle the labor-intensive layout. We love installing full systems but we also love helping you move smoothly to the next phase of construction!
For homeowners and builders who want a turnkey experience, we offer complete system installation, including:
RadKingPanels™ installation
PEX tubing layout & installation
Running PEX to manifold locations
Connecting PEX to manifolds
Pressurizing the system with air until the floors are finished
Once installed, your system is fully prepped and ready for any flooring type hardwood, engineered wood, tile, or carpet.
RadKing also provides low-voltage electrical installation for radiant heat systems.
We handle everything, including:
WiFi thermostats (Tekmar 561 and others)
Wall sensors
Wiring actuators
ZVC controllers and thermostat wiring
We ensure every system is programmed, connected, and ready to deliver optimal comfort and control right from your phone or smart device.
When you choose RadKing, you’re choosing craftsmanship, efficiency, and experience.
Our team installs complete radiant systems panels, tubing, and controls with precision and speed, ensuring your home or project is warm, efficient, and built to last.
Radiant Installation Stages & Access Requirements
Radiant heat installation happens in stages, and proper access ensures your system is installed cleanly and efficiently. Because we run PEX tubing from each room back to a central manifold, we sometimes need access to the ceiling below the floor we’re heating.
Here’s how it works depending on your home layout:
Second Floor Installations
When we’re installing radiant heat on a second floor, the manifold is typically located on that same level, usually in a closet for easy access.
To run the PEX tubing to the manifold, we’ll need the first-floor ceiling open until the tubing is installed and air-tested. Once complete, your contractor can close the ceiling and continue with sheetrock or finishing work.
First Floor with Basement
For first-floor installations in homes with basements, the manifold is normally located in the basement.
We’ll need access to the basement ceiling to run the PEX tubing cleanly and efficiently before the ceiling gets closed up.
Homes Built on Slab
If your home is built on a concrete slab, we install the system topside.
PEX tubing will be installed above the floor structure and neatly routed up the wall to the manifold location, allowing for clean zoning and efficient operation.
Smart Manifold Placement
We always locate manifolds as centrally as possible within the home.
Central placement means shorter tubing runs, minimal heat loss, and faster response times all leading to a more efficient and consistent heating experience.
And don’t worry you won’t see exposed manifolds.
Second-floor closet manifolds are hidden behind clean access panels once sheetrock is complete. You won’t need to move clothes or linens access is only needed for maintenance check.
Built Smart. Installed Clean. Designed for Comfort.
At RadKing, every system is planned for performance, installed for precision, and designed for long-term reliability.
